COTO Privacy Code
The College is not covered by Federal Privacy Legislation.
The College has voluntarily adopted its own Privacy Code to govern its collections, uses and discloses personal information in the course of carrying out its regulatory activities. These regulatory activities are not of a commercial nature. Accordingly, the work of the College and its statutory duties are not covered by the federal privacy legislation titled the "Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act." The College has adopted a Privacy Code (PDF: 96Kb) voluntarily to provide a mechanism through which the College can provide appropriate privacy rights to individuals involved in the College's activities while still enabling the College to meet its statutory mandate.
