On January 24, 2020, the Ministry of Health’s (MOH) Associate Chief Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Barbara Yaffe, shared an update on COVID-19.

There is a Ministry of Health dedicated web page: https://www.ontario.ca/page/wuhan-novel-coronavirus-2019-ncov where you can learn how the Ministry of Health is preparing for COVID-19 in Ontario. You can find out how to protect yourself, what to do if you’re sick after you travel and how to recognize possible symptoms.

Every weekday at 10:30 a.m. ET, the Ministry's dedicated web page will be updated with the most up-to-date information on the status of cases in Ontario.

We will continue to update this web page.

Occupational therapists are reminded to follow infection prevention best practices (See the College's Standards for Infection Prevention and Control). Please contact our Practice Resource Service for any questions about infection prevention by phone at 416-241-1177/1-800-890-6570 x240, or by email at practice@coto.org.
