Possible Unauthorized Use of Title by Casey Cheung, also known as Kelvin Cheung and Karl Cheung

April 13, 2018
The College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (the “College”) has become aware of an individual who is not an occupational therapist but who may be representing himself as one. The individual has used the names Casey Cheung, Kelvin Cheung and Karl Cheung. Learn more here.

Occupational therapist is a title that is protected by law and may only be used by members of the College. Title protection is one way to help the public identify occupational therapists (OTs) who are registered (licensed) with the College and accountable for meeting the College’s accepted standards of practice.

The College’s public register lists everyone who is, or was, registered with the College. Mr. Cheung has never been registered with the College. To view up-to-date details about eligibility to practise as an OT in Ontario, check our public register at Find an Occupational Therapist.
