If your question is urgent or you need assistance locating an occupational therapist, please phone the College during business hours, Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., and press 0.

Please note that we cannot provide legal advice. For occupational therapists, practice advice does not replace their own clinical and professional judgement.

Our Practice Resource Service is available to provide support to:

patients and clients

occupational therapists

employers

students

other health care providers

other members of the public

Sharing information and relevant resources supports the delivery of safe, ethical and effective occupational therapy services.

We receive calls about:

professional and ethical practice questions

specific occupational therapy practice situations within the province of Ontario

expectations and standards for occupational therapy practice in Ontario

identifying relevant College resources

the rights of patients/clients when working with occupational therapists
