We wanted to share the feedback we received on last year’s national eLearning module on Advancing Culture, Equity and Justice in Occupational Therapy Practice. We truly appreciate and value your comments.
- 98% said the module “prompt[ed] reflection about your role in delivering culturally safer practice.”
- 89% said you “learn[ed] something new through the module that you can use in your practice.”
- 96% said you were somewhat or very likely to “continue learning about this topic.”
Overall, 86% had a very good or good experience with the module, with 12% saying the experience was neutral and 2% saying it was poor or very poor.
This module was developed through a collaborative effort. Occupational therapists from advisory groups—including those representing Indigenous and equity-deserving communities, as well those with specific knowledge in culture, equity, and justice—contributed to its creation. A diverse group of caregivers and clients who have used occupational therapy services also shared their experiences and formed the foundation of the strategies in the module.
If you would like to revisit the module, or you missed it, it’s available in French and English on our website.
