The Ministry of Health has released its 2026–2027 Seasonal Respiratory Pathogen Guide to support health system partners with planning and preparedness for the fall and winter respiratory illness season.
The guide provides an overview of the anticipated respiratory pathogen outlook and planning scenarios for the 2026–2027 season, including influenza, respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), COVID-19 and other respiratory pathogens.
Health system partners are encouraged to review the guide and consider the planning expectations outlined for the upcoming respiratory illness season.
