COTO has renamed our public register to the List of Registered Occupational Therapists.
This new name better reflects its purpose: to help the public, employers, and others who rely on this information to check whether an occupational therapist is registered (licensed) to practise in Ontario.
Only the name of the public register has changed. The information it contains, how it is used, and how it is accessed remain the same.
The List of Registered Occupational Therapists is an official, up to date list about anyone who is, or was, registered to practise occupational therapy in Ontario. The list confirms the registration status of occupational therapists and shows whether there are any conditions or concerns that may affect their practice.
