The College is inviting registrants to attend a free 90-minute webinar about strategies to build a trauma-informed practice.
The webinar will happen on June 24 from 12 to 1:30 p.m. and is being hosted by College of Physiotherapists of Ontario, the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario and the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario.
This webinar is ideal for rehabilitation professionals who work with different patient/client populations and will be led by a registered psychologist.
Key principles to be explored:
- Applying trauma-informed care in everyday practice.
- Talking about how practitioners can support their own wellbeing.
- Addressing how current socioeconomic factors can impact how a person shows up to a health-care appointment.
There will be time to look at real-life examples and answer questions from attendees.
The webinar will be recorded for those who cannot attend live. Please be sure to register if you would like to receive a recording afterward.
