Now Available: 2023 Annual Report

The College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario has released its 2023 Annual Report.

The report details our accomplishments in the third year of our 2020 - 2024 Strategic Plan. Highlights include governance modernization, integrating the new national competencies and the release of our updated Standards of Practice.

Consultation on Proposed Amendments to Bylaws - Part 18: Fees

A registration renewal fee increase of 2% is being proposed for the upcoming annual renewal period of 2024/2025, which amounts to $15. Review the proposed bylaw amendments and provide your comments by December 31, 2023.

Call for New Practice Subcommittee Members

The College is seeking two occupational therapists to join the Practice Subcommittee.

The Subcommittee is currently seeking two occupational therapists who have worked in one of the following practice settings for the last 5 years: community care and support services (home care), adult mental health, and acute care (hospital).

The deadline to apply is Friday, November 10, 2023.

Governance Updates and Reform at COTO

Governance modernization has been a significant priority for the College since 2020. The Board of Directors began to implement changes to the governance structure through bylaw changes to align with best practices.
