Competency Improvement

After participating in the Competency Assessment / Peer and Practice Assessment process if an occupational therapist is identified as demonstrating gaps in knowledge, skills or judgement, the Quality Assurance Committee may issue a decision such as:

Occupational therapists are required to demonstrate that they have engaged in a learning process and made improvements in their practice for their own personal and professional growth and to protect the clients they serve and people they work with.
