Opportunity: Quality Assurance Subcommittee

The College is seeking an occupational therapist (OT) with paediatric experience to serve on its Quality Assurance Subcommittee. The Subcommittee supports the Quality Assurance program by ensuring occupational therapists are delivering quality care and continuing their competence.

As a member of the Quality Assurance Subcommittee you will help develop learning objectives, key messages, and case scenarios for the annual Prescribed Regulatory Education Program (PREP) for occupational therapists.

This is a great opportunity to build your skills, put your knowledge and experience into action, and contribute to the advancement of the occupational therapy profession.

The College is seeking a candidate who:

  • Has worked as an occupational therapist with paediatric experience for at least 5-years
  • Has experience with committee work
  • Is knowledgeable about best practices for the paediatric population
  • Is in good standing with the College
  • Understands the role of the College

Term and Time Commitment:

  • One 3-year term (with option to stand for an additional 3-year term) available with a start date of May 1, 2020
  • Attendance at 4-6 full-day, in-person meetings at the College per year
  • 1-2 teleconferences may also be held between the in-person meetings
  • Travel and accommodation expenses are covered by the College, and a per diem is paid for meeting attendance and preparation time
