In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the College extended the due date for the 2020 Self-Assessment and the 2020 PREP to December 31, 2020.
Thank you to those OTs who have already completed their PREP and have provided us with some great tips you may find helpful:
- Allocate 2+ hours: depending on your learning style and the extent of your engagement with PREP resources, you may require 2 hours to complete it.
- Add extra time if using the PDF: every OT is required to complete the PREP eLearning module in MyQA. If you choose to review the PDF version to supplement your learning or for ease, you are still required to respond to the reflective practice exercise and complete the PREP in MyQA. Consider setting aside extra time if you choose to review both the PDF and online versions.
- Consider use of the closed captioning feature: if you prefer having the voiceover match the text on the screen exactly, using the closed captioning feature may support your learning needs.
- Ensure a completed status in MyQA: after you complete the PREP, check the PREP box in your MyQA to ensure that you see a green dot and the word “completed”.
