Opportunity: Quality Assurance Subcommittee

The College is seeking an occupational therapist (OT) with community-based experience working with adults to serve on its Quality Assurance Subcommittee. As a member of the Quality Assurance Subcommittee you will help develop learning objectives, key messages, and case scenarios for the annual Prescribed Regulatory Education Program (PREP) for occupational therapists.

The College is seeking a candidate who:

  • Is currently registered and in good standing with the College
  • Has worked as an occupational therapist in a community-based setting providing services to an adult population for at least 5-years
  • Is not currently serving on Council, Committees, or any other role in the College
  • Understands the role of the College
  • Has access to a secure and reliable internet connection that is not publicly accessible
  • Meets the eligibility criteria as per the – Policy on the Approval of Supervisors and Other Agents of the College

Additionally, the College considers:

  • Geographic location to try and balance district representation
  • Experience with virtual services, including interfacing with technology to attend meetings and review documents.

Term and Time Commitment:

  • One 3-year term (with option to stand for an additional 3-year term) available with a start date of March 1, 2021
  • Attendance at 4-6 virtual meetings per year
  • A per diem is paid for meeting attendance and preparation time
