The College and Elizabeth Weldon, Program Advisor, Licensing Services Branch, Ministry of Transportation, will be discussing how recent changes to the Highway Traffic Act, 1990 may impact your occupational therapy practice.

Learn about changes to the legislation that address:

  • who can report
  • what new conditions and functional impairments should be reported, and
  • how a report should be made.
The College is currently developing an Interim Guide to Discretionary Reporting for Fitness to Drive to assist OTs with:

  • understanding their reporting roles and responsibilities and
  • implementing relevant changes within their current practice setting.
Details of the Interim Guide will be shared in the webinar and you will have an opportunity to ask questions.
